BATTERS inventory database - Battery recycling
In response to the lack of LCA data on recycling processes WeLOOP has developed the BATTERS database.
It centralises Life Cycle Inventories (LCI) dedicated to recycling processes and recycled materials, enabling the measurement and comparison of recycled materials and thus ensuring compliance with European regulations.
BATTERS project phase 2 - Strengthening collaboration in the battery industry in Hauts-de-France around the battery life cycle
Under the BATTERS project phase 2 continues the momentum generated by the first phase of the project by developing a collaborative digital platform dedicated to the LCA and eco-design of batteries.
It enables European players to collect data, measure, compare and improve their environmental performance, while preparing for compliance with future regulatory requirements and the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
BATTERS project phase 1 - Strengthening the circular economy in the emerging battery industry in Hauts-de-France
The BATTERS Phase 1 project made it possible to establish a state of play of the battery value chain in Europe and in the Hauts‑de‑France (HdF) region.
The study focused on the identification of material needs, production capacities, recycling scenarios, as well as on the development of a Territorial LCA and a territorial roadmap in HdF.
This seminal work constitutes the base on which the WeLOOP BATTERS battery division is now based.
